B. Braddock werd geboren op 28 augustus 1917 in Manly, New South Australië.

Zijn ouders waren Frederick Walter Roy en Harriett Marion Sarah Braddock

Hij was leraar en journalist.

Te Manly, NSW huwt hij op 28 november 1936 met Janine, Elisabeth Fotheringham.

Op 19 januari 1942 neemt hij dienst bij het 25e Australische Transport Platoon, A.A.S.C. (Australian Army Service Corps) waar hij op 18 april 1943 ontslag neemt om zich de volgende dag bij de RAAF te voegen.

De broer van Janine diende ook bij de RAAF in Engeland en kwam om het leven tijdens de Slag om Engeland. Het sprak Bryant zo aan dat hij dienst nam bij de RAAF.

 

Bryant scheept in Sydney in op 11 Augustus 1943 voor een verdere opleiding in Canada en later in Engeland om zich daar uiteindelijk op 21 augustus 1944 bij zijn vaste bemanning te voegen.

In hun huwelijk waren er geen kinderen. Na de dood van haar man is zij hertrouwd. Ze gaat nu door het leven als Janine Chaplin en overleed te White Gum Valley in 2003.

  Op 21 februari 1945 kwam hij om tijdens zijn 6e operationele vlucht op 27-jarige leeftijd.

Briant (Barry) Braddock was born on August 28, 1917 in Manly, New South Australia.

His parents were Frederick Walter Roy and Harriett Marion Sarah (Bricknell) Braddock

He was a teacher and journalist.

At Manly, NSW he married Janine, Elisabeth Fotheringham on November 28, 1936.

On January 19, 1942, he joins the 25th Australian Transport Platoon, A.A.S.C. (Australian Army Service Corps) where he resigns on April 18, 1943 to join the RAAF the next day.

Janine's brother also served in the RAAF in England and was killed in the Battle of Britain. It appealed to Bryant that he enlisted in the RAAF.

 

Bryant embarked in Sydney on August 11, 1943 for further training in Canada and later in England, and finally joined his regular crew there on August 21, 1944.

There were no children in their marriage. After the death of her husband she remarried. She is now known as Janine Chaplin and passed away in White Gum Valley in 2003.

On February 21, 1945, he died on his 6th operational flight at the age of 27.

De meeste briefwisseling gaat naar de vrouw van Bryant Braddock, Jeanine. Maar ook naar een zekere mevr. Moore in Winnipeg,Manitoba, Canada.
Het is me tot nu toe nog niet duidelijk wie dat is.

In bepaalde documenten wordt zij als vriend genoemd.

 

Most of the correspondence goes to Bryant Braddock's wife, Jeanine.

But also to a certain Mrs. Moore in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
It is not yet clear to me who she is.

In some documents she is mentioned as a friend.
